1. Detect - Finding Bed Bugs Early
- Learn how to identify Bed Bugs and evidence of an infestation. Also, learn common Bed Bug hiding spots.
- Inspect hiding spots daily.
- Depending on infestation risk, periodically conduct intense inspections.
2. Destroy - Treating an Infestation.
- Use Contact Killing Spray for free roaming Bed Bugs in all hiding places listed above. Do not saturate.
- Use the Steamer to steam all the hiding places listed above except electronics. Additionally, be sure to steam the seams of mattresses, curtains, carpeting and rugs.
- Use the vacuum to clean up any possible debris. Don't forget to discard your vacuum cleaner bag or clean your vacuum system if it does not require bags.
- Use the Pest Pistol filled with DE in all hiding places listed above including mattress, curtain, rugs and carpet seams. Remember to apply a very thin layer and also rub the dust from the Pest Pistol into rugs and carpets.
- Place your mattress in the Paravinyl Mattress Encasement. Also, we recommend to fully treat your box spring with a mattress encasement as well.
3. Deter - Restricting Areas of Activity and Maintaining a Bed Bug Resistant Environment.
- Apply a thin layer of DE in cracks and crevices, electrical outlets, on mattresses, and behind furniture for long-term residual treatment.
- Implement Paravinyl Mattress Encasements on mattresses and box springs.
- Continue daily routine inspections.
