The Bed Bug Bite packs are the most requested by our lab techs to relieve the intense itching commonly associated with bed bug (and other insect) bites. ProEcza goes to work immediately to soothe the itch on the skin, while Healing Gel penetrates deeply to help prevent infection and minimize those unsightly red bumps. The products work in combination with each other to neutralize the bed bug saliva (the main cause of the itchiness) as well as help maintain healthy, itch-free skin.
The active ingredient in the Infection Protection Gel, Benzalkonium Chloride, is commonly used in pharmaceuticals, such as leave-on skin antiseptics, towelettes, wet wipes, while also being used in the medical field in preparations used for skin disinfection prior to use of syringes. The Healing Gel is a rapidly acting biocidal agent with a moderately long duration of action. It's also active against bacteria and some viruses, fungi, and protozoa. While Benzalkonium Chloride is tough enough to tackle of these common skin irritations, it's safe enough to use on children as young as 2 years of age.
ProEcza contains 1% Hydrocortisone Anti-Itch Cream. It not only treats bed bug bites, but it effectively relieves the itching and inflammation from eczema, dermatitis, rashes, insect stings, poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac. It provides on-contact relief where skin problems originate, in seconds, without stinging!
