  • Classification of Burns
    • First Degree-Superficial burns that only involve the epidermis with swelling, redness, and pain. Doesn't blister and heals quickly without scarring.
    • Second Degree -the entire epidermis is involved and usually blisters. Very painful and healing will take 7-14 days.
    • Third Degree- these are full thickness burns with the entire epidermis and dermis involved. The nerves endings are destroyed and usually there is no pain. Because of the inability to epithelialize, grafting is necessary
• All Stop Healing & Protection Spray is effective against minor scrapes & cuts
  • Common first aid practices:
    • 1.Wash your hands.
      2.Wash the cut or scrape thoroughly with mild soap and water.
    • 3.Large pieces of dirt or debris should be removed with tweezers.
      4..If a small scrape is likely to get rubbed or dirty, apply a non-adhesive bandage. Otherwise let it air dry.
    • Larger scrapes, or scrapes that bleed more, should be covered with a gauze bandage. Ice can help reduce swelling. Do not apply ice directly to the skin.
