HOW JOINT ADVANCE WORKS The cartilage is a rubbery padding between all your joints. It's smooth and slippery, making it possible for bones to slide back and forth with ease. It is living tissue that regenerates itself about every 180 to 360 days. It has no pain nerves and no blood vessels. In some cases, the cartilage simply wears thin through years of use. As the body ages, absorption of nutrients from the normal diet is decreased. As a result, the body is deprived of important nutrients for protecting cartilage. Weight reduction, combined with a more healthful diet will help you feel better in every way. When you reduce the amount of weight bearing on your joints, you will increase your joint health. Most over-the-counter pain preparations like Aleve, Advil and Tylenol, destroy sulfur while being metabolized by the liver. But, the body needs sulfur for normal re-building of tissues. This is why the MSM in Joint Advance is so important. It replaces the sulfur lost when the body detoxifies the pain relievers. Glucosamine Complex and Chondroitin Sulfate, with MSM, work as a team, enhancing each other. Glucosamine and chondroitin help supply the nutrient building blocks for cartilage health MSM supplies the sulfur necessary for the integrity of connective tissue. Vitamin C, Ginger and White Willow Bark are part of good health regimen. Please see Ingredients page for more information. It takes time for these natural ingredients to give you complete support. Your patience is necessary. Naturally, you want the whole thing over right now, but most studies show that it can take six months and in some cases longer. The other ingredients in Joint Advance will help you feel good. The typical American diet is highly acidic. Dietary changes that will balance your system from acidic to more alkaline will help a great deal. Because acids irritate weak tissue, a more alkaline diet will help support joint health. We urge you to follow the program for at least six months. Follow the suggestions in your Bonus book, Joint Protection Diet Guide, and get regular low-stress exercise like swimming. Exercise helps keep your joints lubricated, just like oiling a squeaky door. Do not stop taking Joint Advance simply because you feel better. It's a big temptation to think, "I don't need it anymore. I feel great!" Remember, things worth having sometimes take time. Read our FAQs page for more information. Joint Advance will help you shield yourself from the rigors of life, and you will feel great. That's what you're looking for. Others are doing it. Now, you can, too.
Here's what's you'll get in every tablet:
Glucosamine Complex 1500 mg
Glucosamine is a form of amino sugar that our bodies naturally manufacture. It is considered one of the major building blocks for joint protection. It is usually found in conjunction with Chondroitin Sulfate, and is widely used.
Chondroitin Sulfate 1200 mg
Chondroitin Sulfate is also naturally found in the body. The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons states, "It (chondroitin) prevents other body enzymes from degrading the building blocks of joint cartilage."
MSM 900 mg
MSM is a short term for a really long chemical name: methylsulfonylmethane, (METH-il-sul-FON-il-METH-ane.) MSM provides sulfur, which is a vital building block of joints, cartilage, skin, hair and nails. It also supports the production of energy. It is abundantly available in a normal diet, and is found in meat, eggs, milk and other dairy products. Consequently, we don't usually need MSM to correct a dietary deficiency, but for the other things it does. It helps normal re-building of connective tissue.
Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid) 90 mg
Vitamin C deficiency is common in people who don't eat enough fruits and vegetables. It is often characterized by skin that bruises easily, (cutaneous hemorrhages).
The American Journal of Public Health 2004, published results of a study, titled, "Vitamin C Deficiency and Depletion in the United States: The Third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 1988 to 1994" (Am J Public Health. 2004 May; 94(5): 870-875.) The study was conducted by Jeffrey S Hampl, PhD, RD, Christopher A. Taylor, PhD, RD, and Carol S. Johnston, PhD, RD.
The researchers concluded, "...our data indicate that a considerable number of children and adults in the United States are vitamin C deficient or depleted. Health professionals should continue to recommend consumption of vegetables and fruits, especially those that are rich in Vitamin C. In addition, vitamin C supplementation should be discussed with all patients, but especially those who are at the greatest risk of vitamin C deficiency: cigarette smokers and poor eaters."
