About Bed Bugs
Bed bugs are small parasites that survive on the blood of warm-blooded animals such as us. They are known as nocturnal insects since they usually come out of hiding at night to feast on their prey. While we sleep, bed bugs extract blood in a very painless fashion. But the resulting bumps and swelling reactions to their bites are quite uncomfortable.

While adult bed bugs are close to 1/4 of an inch in length, nymphs, are roughly the size of a poppy seed. Some research has supported the fact that bed bugs can lay close to 500 eggs in their lifetime, and five eggs per day. One can easily see these eggs faster than they would see the bed bugs as they are of milky-white in color and are 1mm in length. Taking close to two weeks to hatch, these new bed bugs, or nymphs, begin feeding on you right away.
Bed bugs range in color from tan and brown, to burnt orange and even white. While they don't have wings to fly, bedbugs are very mobile, and get around pretty well. Bed Bugs are so clever that they can flatten themselves enough to hide in dark corners when they are in your home or other places. Common hiding places include baseboards, behind fixtures and outlets, behind hanging artwork, around headboards and baseboards, seams of mattresses and any cracks or crevices.
Aside from already being present at a home or business, bed bugs can travel from one place to another while being hidden in furniture, clothing, moving boxes and luggage. Bed bugs are more prevalent in nooks and crannies of used furniture and usually lay their eggs there. That's why people have to be very cautious when purchasing used furniture, since they never know when they would be inheriting bed bugs. Another way in which bed bugs can enter joining apartments, dorms or even hotels are through pipelines, holes and spaces in the walls.
Do I Have Bed Bugs?
One sign would be their cast skins, which they usually leave behind. This should signal an alert from the homeowner to immediately start looking around their home to see if there are any bed bugs crawling in sight.

"I am very pleased with Dead Bed Bugs products and believe I have gotten rid of them." "I am very pleased with the Dead Bed Bugs products and believe I have gotten rid of them. (Hopefully) I still am using the products to make sure they do not return. I would like to share some information with you. A family I know was inundated with the bed bugs and the whole story was a tragic one. They spent thousands of dollars on people coming in to spray (which did nothing) and ended up throwing out most of their furniture and then replacing it only to throw it out again. I believe that the problem I faced was brought into my house by someone who had visited a hotel and brought them back to the house. I had never had a problem before this. I paid $500. to an exterminator and he sprayed three times but nothing helped. I got disgusted and went on line and found you. I ordered the works, bed bug spray, powder and the steamer. I used all of them and after doing all of it and also all your suggestions i.e. the mattress covers , pillow covers etc. I am happy to say I am very vigilant and have not seen any live bugs since I used it. I hope this helps you to know how successful it was and also how grateful I am. I would like to order another supply to keep on hand as a back up." -C. Romano East North Port, NY 2/3/09
"We treated everything I bought and we did not get infected." "I was so excited when my parents gave me a European vacation for a graduation gift. I stayed at one of the best hotels in London and woke up in the middle of the night from bugs biting me. It was the worst thing ever to happen to me. My mom had the products waiting when I got home. We treated everything I bought and we did not get infected. Thank you." -Katie C., Nevada

"I really love your bed bug products because they are non-toxic and since I have a 3.5 year old & a dog that is very important to me" "I've used your product since Monday 9/22/08 & I only saw one tiny bed bug yesterday so, I took out the spray bottle & sprayed my headboard again. I didn't see anything this morning when I turned the lights on but I sprayed anyway along with the carpet & under the bed and used the powder around the baseboards, on the mattress & box spring. I do have a mattress cover as well as a box spring cover and my pillows are covered as well. I live w/my mother & she had a problem in her bedrooms upstairs and she used this product along w/the powder and got rid of them and I thought I was safe from these darn bugs. Well, Monday morning I saw one crawling on my sheets so I ran upstairs got the stuff and started using your products. I really love your products because they are non-toxic and since I have a 3.5 year old & a dog that is very important to me" -Darcey
"I saw about 5 or 6 Bugs crawling in my bed!" "We obviously brought Bed bugs home from a trip we had taken. We were home two nights when I woke up scratching and feeling something had just crawled on my arm. I yelled and covers went everywhere. I saw about 5 or 6 Bugs crawling on my bed! The next morning, I went to the Internet and that's when I found you guys. I received my Bed Bug Kit by the next day and I completely went over our entire bedroom with the bed bug spray, steamer, DE, and put the bed bug cover on my bed. I was shocked to see how quick I could get the products! I could not even get an exterminator to my home so quick. Your products were like a godsend. Thank you for saving us."
